I don’t know that that’s a given. It might’ve made that 500 votes for Boebert a little more tenuous, but many of them won handily. I don’t think this would’ve made a difference for the GQP voters.

I find it odd when people get in trouble for a voting issue tied to their actual or alleged residency. Your single, lone vote in any precinct, any race, isn’t going to determine the victor. Certainly knowing where you’re supposed to be casting your ballot is easily determined. Why in the hell do people cast ballots where they are not supposed to be voting? To say nothing of the shenanigans they have to engage in in terms of fraudulently stating what is their legal residency to do it? What’s the upside, the end game?

TPM has long been an invaluable source of information and is unlike any other I’ve found. It’s reporting on the Meadows Texts is a perfect example of that. I was more than happy to see Hunter on Chris Hayes last night, and I felt the same the night before when Josh was on Chris’s show. Why no mention of that, or did I miss it?

They will refer the matter to the Special Counsels office for review noting the Commitee’s opinion that criminal statutes have been violated, but won’t call it a criminal referral.
I suspect there will be referrals to the Bar Association for ethics violations as well

I believe, (though I am not fully aware of the exact details of Mr. Meadows’ fraudulent residency fraud), that mostly this all revolves around the fact that these motherfsckers have no interest, at all, in living anywhere near the people they putatively represent. That is well beneath their station.
