I find this sentence a bit ambiguous: “If there’s a message of the Biden years, it’s that there’s no simply going back to whatever we thought was the system that more or less worked before Trump arrived on the scene.”
It seems clear to me that “the system” we had before Trump arrived was not working for most people. Otherwise, Trump could not have been successful. I think Josh would agree with this, but this is not entirely clear from his statement above.
