Dumb Criminal Story: Seedy looking guy comes into a convenience store, pulls a gun from his waistband and tells cashier to give him all the cash. Cashier hands over cash, Seedy Guy stuffs bills into a pocket, puts gun back in his pants, turns around…
…and finally notices the uniformed cop who’d been getting coffee at the back of the store, who’s now several steps away with gun drawn and aimed at Seedy Guy. Arrest quickly follows.
Seedy Guy had arrived at the convenience store driving a flatbed truck with a backhoe secured to the truckbed. Cops check registration, find the truck belongs to a local construction company. They give company owner a call.
“Are you missing a flatbed truck?” they ask.
“No,” owner answers. “I can look out my window and see it right n…HOLY CRAP, MY TRUCK’S GONE!”
“Everything’s okay,” police reassure him. “It’s been recovered. It’s fine. And the backhoe too.”
Long pause from truck owner. “Backhoe? I don’t have a backhoe.”
So, Seedy Guy was doing an entire crime spree that morning. Story never said what the end goal was, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t for something like the copper theft you describe.

And we’re going to eat a lot of shit when the material finally gets released, because it’s 100% guaranteed that any evidence against Trump or anyone else loyal solely to the MAGAt KKKult KKKristofascist project is never getting released, but they will follow up this kabuki with release of everything they can come up with AND mischaracterize to “prove” the conspiracy that it’s all Dems and liberals who were raping children on Epstein island. They will then laugh in our faces for having joined them in demanding release of it all, swearing up and down that there really isn’t anything that inmplicates any GOPers or their donors, et al.
