It seems extremely unlikely to me that today’s election will have any bearing on tomorrow’s joint session. There is almost zero chance the GA election results will be tabulated and certified by noon tomorrow. If we are so lucky as to have a relative blowout, the media might call the race, but that has no legal significance. Loeffler will still be a Senator Clown for the circus.

Pence must know that loyalty is only one way for Trump and Pence will never ever be POTUS. If he somehow tries to fuck up the counting of electoral college votes, he will lose any shred of dignity he ever had.

Cruz wants to give state legislatures 10 days to remedy that unfortunate oversight. Next up, a lawsuit challenging the Federal law that says “The electors of President and Vice President shall be appointed, in each State, on the Tuesday next after the first Monday in November,” as unconstitutional because Article II, §1 of the Constitution clearly states “Each state shall appoint, in such manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a number of electors.” If the GOP plays this to the max Speaker Pelosi could serve a full term as president.

Actually Trump can spend a lot of time making a mess out of Pence’s world.
Look at it this way, we are up to 61 legal attempts to steal the election and 61 losses. Much of it was so poorly contrived it didn’t survive but a short time in the court room. It is a willing attempt to destroy Democracy. But it cost people time and money. It makes a mess out of a person’s life. Who knows what Trump and his people will do to someone like Pence, part of the fold and then in their eyes a Judas.
