The two-year term of U.S. District Judge Beryl Howell as chief judge in DC ends this week. She will be replaced by U.S. District James E. Boasberg.
I have full confidence in Boasberg. For those who are wondering (I was, for several weeks), Beryl Howell “stepping down” means she will no longer be Chief Judge of the DC District Court. She remains an active judge on the DC District Court. Beryl Howell is one of the good’uns.

Trump needs to make sure there is economic collapse as try and take down Biden.
It will be interesting to see if he has “plans” to respond in the case of an indictment, or if he decides that this, too, is optional, like a subpoena.
Or the more expressive BEV version: ‘Look what you done made me do!’. The same approach that Mr. Putin is using to justify his invasion of Ukraine, of course…

One thing is pretty clear - if Putin were to invite him to the Russian region for “fact finding” he would be on his way in a heartbeat.
