Not that what you’re saying isn’t true, but so often that opposition is simply pointing out that the narrative they’re proposing while entertaining, is wrong. They interpret not accepting their obviously bogus stories as opposition. So they do get irate at any and all contradiction to their world view, but compliance to that world view frequently forces you to accept obviously counter factual propositions.
We’re trying to determine the causality of this behavior. I don’t think it’s possible to make that determination. They make a ridiculous proposition, and are upset because people point out it’s ridiculous. Are they mad a the opposition or the fact that others are able to determine the ridiculous of the proposition. I honestly don’t know if can tell a locus of origin, and the end behavior is identical in both cases.
Agreed. It’s probably a distinction without a difference anyway.
(My personal belief is that Russian Agent Orange still thinks he can buy/earn his dead father’s love/respect if only he has enough money and power and it’s NEVER. GONNA. HAPPEN. )
As the topic suggests, with the present regime, things can always get worse and often does. The arrest this week of the mayor of Newark, New Jersey emphasizes the immediacy of the threat. Arresting the mayor instead of speaking with him, is generally regarded as fascist and dictatorial.
Most of us have seen government press conferences in which blatant falsehoods were presented as fact. As things get worse, it may be important for each one of us to assist upholding of the US Constitution. In some cases, providing a video record of an incident may assist in finding the truth of a situation. For that reason, I am providing a few links below that may assist people in the collection of useful video information while keeping those same people from violating laws and staying safe:
ALL these men and women appointed by TFG:
It’s as if he grabbed every loudmouth at the end of every neighborhood bar. Loud, ignorant, boorish, obnoxious.
Mom clinging to baby.
There’s a photo floating around from WW2. German soldier is aiming a rifle at a woman pushing a baby carriage. It accompanied a statement from one hanged for war crimes: “I love shooting women with prams” he was quoted as saying.
Decades ago, I heard a Hungarian woman refugee describe how she saw German paramilitaries tossing live children into the Danube.
No shortage of men – or women-- willing to carry out these unspeakable acts.
