Impeachment Vs. Inquiry: McCarthy Plays A Word Game As Right-Flank Risks A Shutdown

I would argue they are incapable of understanding the future effects of any decisions they try to make or actions they try to take. Truly, they live purely in the moment–all while being totally and completely unmindful of “the present.”

(Apparently, “in the moment” also, for them, means “in the past” – reliving past spites and slights whether they actually occurred or not all while yearning for a past that never actually existed…if that makes any sense at all)

Impeach or inquire.

Welp, for an impeachment I would think one must inquire what horrible wrong doing the person to be impeached must’ve done.
You know… like a riot at the Capitol the president egged on at a speach on the Ellipse. Like demanding Pence change the Electoral College votes … or else. In other plain words… a coup. Now, trump did it, not Biden. And if a son gets in trouble that does not mean automatically the father is guilty.

“Impeachment Vs. Inquiry: McCarthy Plays A Word Game”

Given the inherent slipperiness of language, the virtually endless connotations and permutations of meaning as constructed in the interplay between message sender and message recipient, not to mention the idiosyncratic psychosocial dynamics permeating every language encounter, it remains crystal clear that Qevin McQarthy is perfectly welcome to go fuq himself.

McCarthy is impeachment-curious but for whatever reason has to keep it on the down-low.

I always thought that Barrasso, Cornyn, and Thune were merely cardboard cutouts destined to be placed behind McConnell, not real Senators. None of them have any leadership skills, they are cardboard.

I’m surprised that @davitydave hasn’t liked this comment yet.

I think McCarthy’s House is now the little house of babel and bedlam.

I stand back a bit so as not to get my shoes dirty.

I think the man who haplessly admitted that investigating Benghazi was about hurting Hillary’s electoral prospects has that in the forefront of his mind.
That he wants to steer everyone down the dead end of ‘inquiry’ likely indicates that Qevin is not sanguine about the salutary electoral effects of a baldly political and vindictive impeachment of Biden.
Of course, Freedom Caucus might not be pacified until they get it, the harm to themselves and the rest of the party be damned.

The Trump White House turned over zero requested docs, and members of his Administration ignored every request and subpoena. I believe Biden could just invoke the “Trump Rule” and ignore the House until the adults take it back over in 2024.

Planet on fire, water scarcity, food insecurity, AI coming for your jobs - but god, what keeps me up at night is drag queens might be lip syncing a song somewhere. Surely an impeachment is just what we need right now.
Thank you, GOP, for really governing and doing what’s right for the American people.

I’m pulling for Barasso. He’s as dumb as they come.

Gingrich is the most evil bastard to land in D C since John Calhoun. As bad as he is, McConnell is a distant second.

They’re dumb, made of cardboard, but they’re comers. And this is their moment to both soothe Turtle and hope he drops dead.

Do you think Greene, Boeber & Gaetz LLC will be satisfied by this tease?

McCarthy’s Biden Crime Family Impeachment Inquiry Investigation Probe Exploration and Examination Subcommittee will have their work cut out for themselves trying to find additional descriptors.

But each word will bring new charge assistants to help the discovery process.

Not Greene by a long shot and she’s
McCarthy’s very bad girl.

Even so, it may be easier than their struggle to locate their lost witnesses.

I have to disagree with you there.

McCarthy decides to inquire about impeachment. It will be a good test to see how DUMB the right-flank is if they fall for this bullshit.
