Impeachment Proceedings Are A Foregone Conclusion — But Why?

Even the most casual political observer knew how this would go from the start. The Democratic-majority House will impeach Trump. The Republican-majority Senate will acquit him. Democrats will point to the mounds of evidence unearthed lashing Trump tightly to the pressure campaign spearheaded by his cronies, and Republicans will baselessly claim absolute vindication.

Would have been nice to see this article earlier this year when so many were beating the drums for a grand futile gesture.

Just imagine how any children of republican enablers of Trump would feel if confronted about their parent’s behavior in light of their own perception of the constitution. Either embarrassed by their own, correct, understanding of the document or confused by their own misunderstanding of the document. Either way, it seems to me the parent would certainly be ashamed.
