Impeachment Managers Preemptively Poke Holes In Trump’s Defense

After watching some documentaries on 20th century dictators, I can imagine much worse. Trump might like to be one of the worst of all time, but he falls quite short.

I’m sure that Susan Collins will say that it’s OK since he has learned a pretty big lesson.

Murkowski was previewing her version of that yesterday.

All Trump had to do was stay out of the way of the covid response and I am 100% certain he would have been elected. It was that close. Via his own incompetence and egomania.

I dunno; I saw a bunch of real Americans at the Meth Cafe in Akron interviewed on the teevee, and they think Dems are being “too effective”. They’re probably overplaying the ‘competence hand’ here.

What were Beavis and Butthead doing in Akron?
Hiding from Fetterman?

There’s a very large sign hanging on an extended construction boom… say 40’ in the air 10’x20’, hanging next to a local hiway at least a couple of grand if not more, sign with an attack on Hunter Biden, as the main theme being Gina Joe… WTF…

Trump didn’t have the courage to do the right thing of acknowledging his loss in November, and congratulating Biden on his victory. In fact, he did all the malicious things the impeachment managers have delineated. He didn’t even have the courage to do the wrong thing. “We’re going to walk down, and I’ll be there with you.” I don’t think a truer moral coward exists.

I think you’re absolutely correct: his bloated sense of his own power and need to be in control finally undid him. Thank God for it.

Schoen hasn’t looked up impeachment in any sort of reference book?

What do you mean? They all claim their references are um… unimpeachable.

yeah his covid ‘response’ was lacking, but he didn’t start any major wars. even if you count all the covid deaths against him, his death count is less than the error bands of those caused by stalin.

Maybe not, but neither have the Trump hordes.

Some Republican senators probably do know better, but only a few of them will admit it.

Not only lacking, he actively interfered. Not sure where you’re going, technology saved us from more deaths not Trump’s lack of trying. Is that more clear?

Perhaps, but I fear the worst of T**** is yet to come.

We were lucky Trump ran out of time.

It was shown to be fact, there is video tape. I wonder if Schoen and Caster are going to get up and explain that what the senators saw on video was not real. That all of the scars and damage done to the Capitol, their work place is not because of an illegal riot.
Romney apparently went and found Officer Goodman to thank the officer for helping escape the mob. Are Schoen and Castor going to try and gaslight the jury that they themselves were really not in any danger? That people that gathered that day to hear Trump speak weren’t influenced by his word, his call to action, his invitation to walk down Pennsylvania Ave and go to the Capitol to Stop the Steal?

But more importantly what the Senators do will determine who stays in power. I believe that there are enough folks, and newly eligible folks that will vote these assholes out. And I just hope that the corporations that said they would stop their donations stick to what the said.

[Individual-1] failed at being the worst Dictator of all time.

What [Individual-1] did take the title on is being worst example of a human being. A miserable sack of necrotic flesh that thinks it is a thing.

True, I think T**** was undoubtedly a failed dictator wannabe.

But I accept your amendment and will modify my statement to Worst President & Human Being. Ever. Imaginable.

Do I hear a second?
