IG Won’t Call Carter Page Surveillance Spying No Matter How Many Times GOP Asks

or Trump’s perceived enemies, Muslims, Black Lives Matter, journalists, judges…you get the picture.

Well, good for Horowitz. I’m not a fan but if he’s got any integrity, he must despise them - and Barr.

Oh, and speaking of words, Trump still - and will never - say “terrorism” about the Pensacola killer. In fact, where is that story these days in GOP-land? Their treachery is so disgusting.

Hannity’s not going anywhere, he’s Trump’s friend on TV that makes a lot of money gaslighting for him.

In a recent poll of Republicans, 43 percent of them didn’t believe in the separation of powers.

What is the matter with these people? The only reason the word “spying” is even an issue is because Trump is a rambling old man who lives in the shadows of his mind and was outraged that law enforcement was watching him. But none of this helps Trump. All they’re doing is reminding everyone that Trump hired criminals who the FBI had to investigate.

Besides, conservatives are pro-surveillance, which is why they cheered when the FBI literally read all of Crooked Hillary’s emails…twice. But Trump farted out a conspiracy about being spied on, so the Republican Cult is require to agree; even as they demand more investigations of Democrats.

Snooping not spy when you’re watching the neighbors. :man_facepalming:

Why would they be surprised by achieving their end goal, other than the aversion of ETTD?

Have we reached max crazy? In 2019, Republicans have become the party of civil liberties?

Did Ted Cruz really invoke Jason Bourne?

Because Bourne wasn’t a spy, he was a CIA black ops assassin.

And Beavis and Butthead? Really? I thought we weren’t supposed to mention the president’s children in Congressional hearings.

Cruz is a fucking idiot.

Because they don’t think that ETTD can get them. That they would become superfluous in the age of a Trump dictatorship.

“I’m going to stick to what we do as IGs, which is look at the law and stick to the language that’s in the law,” [Horowitz] said.

Oh, that everyone in this circus would use the words as they are actually defined instead of using made up vernacular.

Well we are talking about a guy who missed the entire point of Green Eggs and Ham when reading it into the Congressional Record, it is hardly surprising a spy novel would be over his head.

Just one of the downsides to “owning the libs”

ETA; but when Trump loses, we can get back to that Constitution thing.

…and reducing the deficit.

FIRST - I hate Ted Cruz.

That being said, just need a little clarity here.

Which one below is Beavis and which one is Butt-Head?:rofl:

It will be a shit storm if Chris Wray is asked to leave. But, shit storms are Trumps daily food.

They would say, “The dog said he wasn’t being beaten with the stick, so it did not happen, and if it did, there is nothing wrong with it so get used to it.”

Agreed. I believe in giving credit where it’s due, and Horowitz certainly would’ve had a smoother path by skewing the investigation toward the Trump/Barr predetermined conclusion, and he didn’t.
