Morning Glory for Morning Memo
They’re racing up the pole.
We have planted them in pots at the base of the pole but rabbits ALWAYS managed to stretch themselves and bite them. By late summer some stragglers finally made it up the column.
This year, we gave up but Morning Glories are notorious seeders and in the bare rocks with landscape fabric underneath…they came up all over in the landscaping rocks next to the front stoop
Just tied some jute twine guy-wires down to them and they ran right up the pole like Lara Trump after a few drinks

And in word, deed and moods, he is getting worse quickly. So damn visible. He is approaching a moment that I ran into with an adult that was challenged from birth. When I first met him, being a neighbor, the conversation started out normal. It took a few minutes of listening to him to realize while he was massive, fifty year old plus, he thought like a 4 or 5 year old but with excellent language skills. Bit of a shock. Except this guy is a whole lot nicer.
Trump is devolving into that level of thinking. And they are working hard to hide it.

He doesn’t have any honor. He doesn’t care about honor. He’s cheap, tacky, greedy and vindictive. He hates women. He’s a true misogynist and one that hates black women even more than all others it seems. He fits all the characteristics of a serial rapist. He’s has a personality disorder or what they used to call a character disorder, that is so maladaptive with whatever situation he finds himself in where he’s clearly out of his league. He’s a sociopath and and a fucking sick mother-fucker. As a malignant narcissist there really is no way tfor him to be rehabilitated at this point. Not sure there ever was. The man has been damaged goods since childhood. He is still trying to get daddy’s love and attention, which i’m guessing he never truly got. His daddy from all information was as self-centered and obsessed with money as he is, and saw material wealth over people as his priority. And the hate for those less fortunate then himself, particularly by class and by race, was clearly passed on to his son.
Gawd, I hate this man. Two more fucking years of this shit.

I should stay away another 8 months. We have a Ozone action day here in W. MI today. I hate this kind of heat.

I used honor too loosely I think. What I see as my sense of honor is very different from his. He assumes all positive traits and appraisals exist immediately for him without performance. If something challenges that perception, it doesn’t matter to him if he has operated honorably or not. Just that his image is tarnished. He will not take note, change his behavior and improve. But he will fight to remove that stain as an image in the public’s eye. He does feel shame, but differently from you and me. Internally he knows he is wrong and inadequate, but he will move aggressively to remove whatever is seeing that and making it noticed. Always on the attack to hide what we can see.
As a person with a mother who could readily be described as a malignant narcissist, I would say it existed from birth. Her parents and family life were healthy influences. Her sisters were tremendous people. But living with parents like his, could only have severely deepened his malfunction. And I doubt he would ever submit to treatment. Most of the narcissists out there never do.
