Hunter got the misdemeanor charges—and probation—because he paid the money to the IRS while all this foofaraw was going on.
The gun charge will be expiated in a pre-trial diversion program.
The usual right-wing jackasses are braying loudly that the Trump-appointed prosecutor—who was treated like an independent counsel by the DoJ—didn’t do enough to hurt the president’s re-election chances.

Yeah, I think about this. Biden knows highs and lows. He won his first Senate contest then lost his wife and baby while the twin boys were severely hurt.
