Along party lines, huh? Even though we have a clear case of Abuse of Power? Word of advice to the media. Please spare me your bleatings about how chagrined and distraught Republicans are in private. That just won’t do. The stakes are too high. It’s time to put up or shut up with no backsies allowed on their deathbed, ala Lee Atwater.

Schiff has issued the “what goes around, comes around” warning to the GOP with respect to the next Democratic administration. Pretty sure that will have no immediate effect on the Republicans, and Fox will hyperventilate about the Democrats threatening to undermine our constitutional republic.

@castor_troy Looking to be sued by Nunes?

What makes you think I’m not Nunes?

The crucial vote formally kicked the impeachment process over to the Judiciary committee, which is scheduled to hold its first hearing on Wednesday at 10 AM EST. After the committee completes its hearings, it will draw up articles of impeachment.

Not that there’s any doubt among thinking people but this is still considered a “may” not a “will”.

Not to pad your ego, but things like clarity of thought and a modicum of intellect in your TPM persona. Or maybe you’re just very, very good at playing a dumb Republican congressman (redundancy noted).

But where there’s a “will” there’s a way. My freshman Rep is on the Judiciary. Pretty sure he’s been looking forward to this.

I wonder if Nunes has hired a good criminal lawyer yet?

I sure hope not.

I see Johnathan Turley will be representing the GOP view of impeachment law.He still can’t get over President Obama( Like Trump I might add) and Adam Schiff beating Turley like a drum here.Which Congressman Schiff prepared to make the Dems case on impeachment of Trump

" “Our investigation found that Judge Porteous participated in a pattern of corrupt conduct for years,” said Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., the chair of a House Task force that reviewed the accusations against Porteous."

Oh, please. If we removed all the russkie agents from Select Committees they’d be populated exclusively by Democrats (and not even all of them).

Kamala stepping out saddens me. I realize that she had some missteps and couldn’t gain poll numbers above Yang. But. Yet. Sad.
