Subpoena every last one of them, including Fat Nixon, and drag them into the hearings if they don’t comply. Enough of their bullshit…

I know that the hearings are serious and Schiff is doing a splendid job, but part of me wants Boon, D-Day, Bluto, and Otter to cut the cake, accelerate to ramming speed, and plow through the GOP BS.

If the expedited ruling is not in Trump’s favor he’ll just appeal it through whatever remaining courts there are and then to SCOTUS. Dems will be in the position of asking each successive court to expedite rulings. How in the hell does this hew to a timeline forcing McGahn to testify before the clock is forcing Dems to wrap it all up and present it to the Senate? Doubtless Trump can drag this out for months, no?

Judge Brown would consider issuing an expedited order

Why is it so hard to decide whether or not McGahn needs to respond to a Congressional subpoena? Of course, McGahn has to show up and he then has to decide whether to answer each question, plead the fifth amendment, or cite why he is not required to answer the question.

I think the 2000 election went through whatever courts it went through and it was decided by the SCOTUS in a couple of months. So it can be done.

Is there a timeline or deadline to wrap it all up? I haven’t seen any hurry and the longer the GOPers drag out the ability of any of their people to ignore subpoenas the guiltier Drumpf is going to look, and the thinner the cover-up is going to be.

You are obviously unfamiliar with the new legal theory of “absolute immunity”; Trump and his gang can do anything they want. Sadly, this theory has not yet been subjected to judicial review; I fully expect it will be found to be baseless.

Perhaps this has less to do about mcgahn and more to do with Bolton who’s intimated that he’d be willing to testify if there was plausible legal air cover. Who knows, really. Bolton is such sketchy fuck himself that I certainly wouldnt blame anyone for calling my point rediculous.
