Fuck the fucking Democrats. We are constantly on the receiving end of threats and the threat of consequences. The only people I hear issuing threats on the left are fucking podcasters. Meanwhile the dickless fucking Democrats ought to be beating the fucking drum constantly over the lifetime of litigation that everyone from the masked ICE agents to Vought himself are going to face. Instead, motherfucking crickets. Fuck these fucking losers.
Yes, we all know you hate Democrats more than Republicans. Give it a fucking rest.
I want him relegated to a prison cell.
And, many of the decisions are driven by impulse. Usually we think of ādecision makerā as someone that sits down and carefully runs through the options. I donāt think it works like that precisely, but I am not saying they run completely blind or they are even clueless. However, their autocratic beliefs put boundaries on their choices which often come down to power play impulses for a āwin-loseā game of confrontation.
The problem they are having with this confrontation is that they cannot escape it, at least not as long as Democrats continue to confront them. Usually if the administration is not āwinningā, they slide into a different confrontation they think they can āwinā, to perhaps come back to the one they were losing later. That is not possible here. And, I donāt think they have a plan for a loss.
We just have to wait for this to play out. My take is that Democrats got them in a box that Republicans put themselves into and they should keep them there. If is wonderful that Republicans are assisting in this effort.
You are suggesting the strategy Republicans have used without exception since Bill Clinton was elected in 1992. In 1993 and 1994, there were more filibusters in the U.S. Senate then there had been combined in the entire history of America through 1992.
The problem is that this strategy, total obstruction at all costs, has worked for Republicans.
One other point from that really angers me:
I canāt control that,ā Thune said about decisions made by OMB and the OMB Director Russ Vought, per Politico. āBut the Democrats ought to think long and hard about keeping this thing going for a long time, because it wonāt be without consequence, Iām sure.ā
āThis is the risk of shutting down the government and handing the keys to Russ Vought,ā Thune added.
Who the heck voted to confirm Russ Vought? I mean Trump and Republicans acting like babies not getting their way and threatening to destroy everything is the fault of Republicans and not Democrats. That is it is not the fault of Democrats because Republicans are evil and that point should be made.
Exactly. If Senate Majority Leader Thune thinks Vought is too crazy to serve in government, he could do something about it.
Canāt argue with any of that, but I think thatās where we find ourselves. Heās made it clear that heās going to do whatever the hell he wants, and I donāt believe there are any options left.
If thatās your takeaway from everything Iāve written, I suggest you be forced to wear a soft helmet and stay away from sharp objects. Jesus, when did stupid become a heroic trait?
You deal in infantile accusations and use such sophisticated terms like āhateā so you obviously have the maturity and intellect of a rock. Youāre too dumb to understand what Iām saying, so Iām an asshole and a motherfucker. Talk about needing a mirror.
