Herschel Walker’s Own Campaign Staffers Complain He Repeatedly Lies To Them

I’m sure that the homeless and poor would love this!

This is getting a little too meta for me. Next we are going to hear about a third film crew captured by Zapruder on the grassy knoll.

As in all things like this, I always suggest upgrading to Gorilla Tape. It might need a few cable ties as well.

Yep, an idiot football hero replaced him. Trey Crowder covered this in a great take on Walker below. It will be fascinating (and maybe horrifying) to see if a “religious devotion to football” overcomes Walker’s obvious unsuitability to be a Senator in that state.

They’re really gonna have to workshop that new tagline.

I was expecting this. While it was a hit for Three Dog Night, it was actually an Argent (Russ Ballard) tune.

ETA Here’s much concert, if anyone’s interested. They had a deep repertoire that, sadly, usually became hits for other bands. They did, however, get to keep the royalties.

Wisconsin’s corrupted court rigging Ron Johnson’s re-election.

A divided Wisconsin Supreme Court barred the use of most ballot drop boxes on Friday and ruled voters could not give their completed absentee ballots to others to return on their behalf, a practice that some conservatives disparage as “ballot harvesting.”

It’s a ruling feared by voting rights proponents, who said ahead of time such a decision would make it harder for voters — particularly those with disabilities — to return their absentee ballots. Many Republicans hoped for a ruling that they said would help prevent someone from casting a ballot in the name of someone else.

The 4-3 ruling came a month before the state’s Aug. 9 primaries, when voters will narrow the fields for governor and U.S. senator. Both contests in this battleground state are being closely watched nationally.

Someone on TPM commented yesterday on the strange appearance of the gun and speculated that it was home made, so I went looking for more details.

Former PM Abe was a complicated figure in his own right. However, he was probably the closest thing to an actual friend and confidant that Mr. Trump ever had. In many ways Mr. Abe served as a kind of levee to protect Japan from Mr. Trump’s capricious and unreasonable demands. In that role, he was phenomenally successful. Mr. Trump intially made all sorts of threats against Japan but never followed through on any of them.

I haven’t said how much I hate and detest football lately…
As a rural Southerner, it means I’m a pariah…and I’m ok with that…

I would dispute that assertion. Step outside the dumbass parts of this country and you’ll her it loud and clear.

They’ll pass a draconian law against the use of it (The song is actually titled “Yakety Sax”) and the Supreme Court will uphold it. “Yakety Sax” will not save you.
