It’s been a long time since I had one but a real flat iron steak cooked properly can be cut with a fork. (Any flat iron that weighs more than 1/2 lb isn’t a real flat iron.)

Probably because they are professional consultants & organizing and operating campaigns is what they do to pay their bills… and to extricate themselves without destroying their professional career requires them finding a plausible off-ramp.
… although the toxicity of the Walker campaign does lead me to belive that, as this falling knife plumets, there may be a number of individuals who “step away for personal reasons”

Reuters reports that attorney Robert Costello has delivered a filing to the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia in which he outlines a significant conflict of interest that he will have in representing Bannon going forward.
“Since it appears there will be a trial, and since it appears that at this point in time I might be called as a witness, I must reluctantly ask the Court to grant my request to withdrawal as trial counsel for… Bannon,” Costello wrote in explaining his request.
Bannon: “But I have a magic shirt!”

I’ve gotten some excellent free range steak from a farmer up the hill from us, well marbled, well aged and well fed. Done medium rare, it also could basically be gummed.
I have a hard time getting my husband to understand that if you want juicy, tender steak you have to look for good marbling. He’s one of those “if there’s fat on it, it’s bad” folks, and then wonders when the meat is tough. Yes, you do not want gristle, but you do want the right kind and amount of fat.
