Claimed Obama Exacerbated Racism
I have absolutely no doubt that all the white racists in the United States were totally outraged by the election of Barack Obama to the Presidency. So from that standpoint, yes, I would agree that Obama “exacerbated racism”. I am extremely thankful that we had honesty, ethics, intelligence, wisdom and sanity during 2008-2016, especially when considering the bookends surrounding those 8 years. We could sleep comfortably during those 8 years, but we sure made up for it with the many horrors over the last four years prior to Joe occupying the White House.
Dubya cut taxes and paid for two wars on our credit card, putting the icing on the cake for the economic collapse of 2008; the mortgage-backed securities meltdown was a problem long in the making. Barack pulled us up out of that mess and got the economy roaring again. Satan’s Avatar inherited that economy and tried to take credit for it, destroyed our public health crisis response capability and paid for it by seeing everything turn to absolute shit during a pandemic which he ignored and lied about while doing his damnedest to impede the public health response. We all know that you have to be a real fucking insane Bozo to believe that Trump’s term was anything better than horrendous.
So if Obama exacerbated racism for white racists, I can only wish that they would’ve all gotten spun up and stroked out.

So I went to CNN.com this morning, just to see what they (CNN) may be saying about this current hate coming out of santorum.
Unfortunately to me, there is not 1 word about it.
Tried to call CNN to give my opinion, NOPE. No published phone #. Had to go the route of Feedback on CNN.com ( most likely will NOT get any reply)
I find it pretty damn sad big ol’ CNN can’t be brave enough to be honest and correct their MISTAKE of hiring him in the 1st place and or call him out for his most ludicrous American history version.

Stories like this are used by Santorum et al as fund raising fodder. TPM would do better to ignore instead of feeding them IMO.
The one that cracks me up are their banner headlines of ‘Blah blah blah confronts blah blah blah, on blah blah blah’. It is never the actual target or person being confronted directly, they just TALK about how bad what the person said or did. Rinse and repeat daily.

If it weren’t for ‘swatting’ being so dangerous… our local yokels overreact hilariously to even rumors of an ‘antifa’ meeting. Seriously, there’s maybe a couple of dozen folks in the entire county who are NOT White racist Trump supporters. I still have signs and banners as if an election never occurred.
