I was gonna write something snarky but this guy sounds like he is crying out for help. I hope he gets it

If this guy Kohfield’s medical records have a diagnosis of bipolar disorder, it wasn’t the war that led to this, although it could have been a trigger.

Bipolar disorder can be late onset too. People with PTSD don’t usually act like this, but you’ll see paranoia often with Bipolar. It’s one of the main characteristics. Unfortunately many with this diagnosis refuse treatment with the meds that can be very effective, but you have to stay on them for life. I know way too much about this illness, due to a family member who spiraled downward while refusing medication.

But, Larson argued to TPM, Kohfield’s rights had been infringed upon because he hadn’t made an imminent threat of violence.

“He didn’t cross the line,” Larson said, criticizing the red flag laws like the one used to confiscate Kohfield’s guns as reminiscent of “Minority Report.”

I suppose a vague, distant threat like “I’d slaughter them and I have a detailed plan on how I would wipe out antifa.” only turns into an imminent threat in that split-second just before you fully pull the trigger on your assault-style rifle and let loose with 30 rounds or so. Plenty of time there to make a complaint, get an order, and confiscate the weapon before any damage is done.

“I will put almost anybody on the air unless they are actively threatening somebody,”

Ah yes, the “vagueness of definitions” excuse. No matter what happens, he wants to claim plausible deniability that he encouraged murder because anything short of the actual slaughter itself could be construed as not constituting “imminent” or an “active” threat of violence, but merely the perfunctory motions of a mentally disturbed person and therefore not actionable.

What a goddamned slimeball.

“There’s a group of people that are trying to dismantle the Constitution, "

It’s called the Republican Party.

I feel so dirty after watching that vid. Most of the comments were down right psyco scary.
Realizing that these clowns mean what they say is damn right sobering. Don’t understand why Shane isn’t in some sort of custody.

Oh, and wtf is Sean Spicer “Commander” of? Straight pride parades? A KKK brigade? Avon?

If Antifa didn’t exist, it would have to be invented. Otherwise, these white supremacists, nationalists and garden variety fascists would have to “lock and load” against the League of Women’s Voters.

“until every one of them was gone in every city in America, if need be, in a single well-coordinated night.”

Sounds better than Kristallnacht!

He is our local hate radio hero. He deliberately says things to get attention and puts guys like this on air for the publicity. He carries a gun at all times and brags about it. He’s been at this for over 20 years. By the way, like Rushbo other radio haters, he’s a college drop out. He showed up at my school’s auction once, but they made him leave his gun at home.

typically the standard for culpability is demonstration of an overt act. Making a plan wouldn’t qualify on its own. Not sure how much information is out there. Most likely, since he basically self-committed himself to psychiatrists, it was easy for law enforcement/DA to pass the buck on this.

I mean, it’s not exactly the brutality of Maxine Waters destroying Michael Tracey, but Richard Spencer did get his face punched that one time.

Hoping someone punches Lewandowski’s lights out. Time to jail the mothafucka for contempt.

If only there were a gif of him being punched repeatedly.

This is a mockery and a farce. Nadler should stop the hearing and call him in contempt. Whoops, sorry, Ralph.

I was thinking it was Stalin, but I believe it’s actually General Henri Giraud.

Interestingly he escaped from German POW camps in both WW1 and WW2.
