Tommy Fischer of Fisher Industries is from ND. Fisher Industries is child company (I like how wiki phrased this) of Fisher Sand and Gravel, of ND.
What should be galling to Texans is that a non-Texan thinks he knows the Rio Grande. Rivers do not all behave the same way. Hell different parts of the same river can behave differently.
I hope some entity took out an insurance policy to insure Fisher Industries makes good on their promises.

He has six months left to grift Trump contracts, and so every sign of failure until January will be a “no problem, bro” thing, just throw a bandaid on it. He just needs to keep the grift running until then, and then he declares business bankruptcy (“reform” never closed the door on businesses skating out on their debts and responsibilities) and retires.

His “solution” was just a scam to get a $1.7 billion dollar grift opportunity. He never believed he knew how to build a wall in some special cheaper better way.

Oh I get that, that’s why I want all the names for those who are looking the other way. I want them made financially responsible for fixing the mess that they allowed to happen.
You might be surprised how someone from a sand and gravel company in one part of the country thinks that they know how a river in the another part of the country will behave. He would have had to sound plausible, to get noticed, but then those who noticed him got bamboozled.
