“Nevada political powerhouse and former Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) announced Monday that he was backing former Vice President Joe Biden’s bid for the presidency…”

Welcome aboard, Harry!

(Of course…you know…this might’ve been a tad more helpful to Joe before the Nevada primary.)

Today seems to give some weight to the argument that endorsements are a lagging indicator more than a leading one, doesn’t it?

The Bernie bots are disciplined…

There was an earlier TPM story on Obama not endorsing Biden yet…Bernie’s name came up tangentially.

And darned if Team Bernie didn’t carpet bomb the entire comments thread. I don’t know whether or not there is remuneration per post.

I understand the perspective, according to WHO, “Rotaviruses are the most common cause of severe diarrhoeal disease in young children throughout the world. According to WHO estimates in 2013 about 215 000 children aged under 5 years die each year from vaccine-preventable rotavirus infections; the vast majority of these children live in low-income countries.”

Covid-19 adds yet another layer of risk to an at risk demographic, the elderly.

Doing so before Super Tuesday carries more delegate weight.

On behalf of the Berniebot Army, I’d like to announce we are boycotting this thread.

Carry on centrist neolib demon spawn.

“Joe Biden’s strength of character and deep experience stand in the starkest contrast to Trump’s amorality, corruption and utter incompetence,” he said in his statement.

“Biden will be a much-needed stabilizing force following Trump’s disastrous term, offering a positive and progressive alternative to Trump’s dark vision of racism, xenophobia and policies built on cruelty and exclusion. I believe Biden is best able to defeat Donald Trump and enact the policies we all care about.”

A third kick in the BernieBros’ yum-yums in less than 24 hours. Ouch.

And add to that Buttigieg’s expected endorsement tonight.

I think I see the problem here. When Trump saw “WHO reports . . . virus . . .”, he assumed it was a prostitute telling him about an STD.

From the way Reid was speaking at the time, he sounded like he would endorse Warren…odds are he’s getting behind Joe with everyone else in an effort to stop Sanders. It’s too bad, Warren is a much better candidate than either of them, but no one will throw her a lifeline.

His endorsement before the Nevada primary would have meant nothing because of the size of Bernie’s win, now it carries more weight.

The remuneration might be in rubles.

The timing and associated publicity could not have been better timed.
