People are too pessimistic. They are unaware (or cannot fathom) just how transformative a Biden Presidency would be with both Chambers of Congress. The entirety of our political discussions would change from adolescent to grown-up.
We do not focus on what we can do.
We focus on what we cannot do.
And enough Americans have the capability to OutVote the GOP.
I’m glad you brought that up because the most pressing issue for young people is Climate Change and the Republican Party has absolutely no plan for dealing with it. We’re about to “spiral out if control” even though scientists are saying we still have time. Should Rethugs get control the issue will be completely ignored and the fossil fuel industry can pretty much write their own ticket.

I actually think that’s a distinct possibility. Once these MAGAts figure out they can’t win by being crazy they might try a different approach. I know it may sound farfetched right now but what they’re doing should not be a winning strategy.

A tactic to depress Dems and Independents and suppress turnout. Also, they want to claim fraud at some point. It’s not going to work.
To be fair…I do not mind being serious. I am not Pollyanna. And I am aware that Dem and GOP voters have vastly different rationales and aims.
But there is one thing that both have in common: voting involves emotion, excitement and sense of momentum. The American People have been through a meat grinder of bad faith, hate and violent opposition from the Republican Party. It would be a shame to let up now. If the GOP wins, the country will be in a much weakened position.

Greenwashing needs to stop. Putting a little green leaf emblem on the outside of a product is meaningless really. I’m seeing a lot of plastic containers that say “made with ocean bound plastic”. If you don’t quit producing plastic, whether ocean bound or not, you’ll never get rid of it. The solution is to quit making plastic products and dumping it in the oceans.
