If this is a “Civil Service” job as opposed to a “Political Appointment” it will not be so easy to disinfect the Government or does anyone else remember “Travelgate”.

“NPR is pretty much Pravda at this point,”

He is confusing NPR with FOX. This is a natural mistake to make for someone who only watches the latter.

There are no GS protections in your initial year with the GS.

Contrary to popular opinion, it isn’t that difficult to fire GS employees - if their supervisors are doing their counseling correctly.

Which too many don’t do.

I hear the DOJ has offices in the basement without windows, where he can be reassigned to count the number of traffic citations issued over the past 85 years.

Not that it is valuable use of the taxpayers monies, but a host of such folk cost less than the waste at DOD.

It’s not clear whether the position is a political appointment, which President-elect Joe Biden could replace, or a civil service position with protections beyond January.

I read that the fact that the transition is now being allowed to go forward and Janet Yellen’s nomination as Treasury Secretary contributed to today’s happy Dow.

Sounds way more plausible than anything Whiny has done (other than losing, for which we thank him most sincerely ).
