So, Greitens is claiming that his ex-wife is working with McConnell to have him cancelled… so he’s going to try and have McConnell’s position as Senate Minority Leader cancelled.

According to local polls, the Kunce (D) was 1 or 2 points above Greitens before this hit. The longer Greitens stays in with this newest scandal, the less chance the GQP has at replacing him with a better candidate. If Greitens goes full on toxic narcissist and takes this into the general, Kunce has a really good chance of beating him. St. Louis, KC, Columbia and their suburbs are in for Kunce. People in the sticks will cut off all their noses to own the libs but a child-beater who won’t get out of the way for a less tainted GQP candidate? That’s going to suppress their turn out.

Why should he drop out of the race? He is the perfect Republican candidate. He represents everything that morally bankrupt political party truly believes in.
If there was a contest for toxic masculinity, Republicans would tie up 9 of the top 10 - gotta save a space for Cuomo. Greitens would be a serious contender for numero uno.
That guy wsa a navy SEAL? I thought they had higher standards than that. Had he ever been killed in the line of duty, it would be the first time a SEAL was ever left behind. Except ISIS wouldn’t take him, either.

The group said they also took issue with Greitens having written four books touting his service as a Navy SEAL, but never actually serving on a Navy SEAL platoon. Greitens was deployed four times to various theatres of operation around the globe, but with a Marine Unit – not a SEAL Team – a distinction SEALs do not take lightly.
It sickens me to hear someone tell people they were a Navy SEAL and a war hero without ever even having served on a platoon,” one SEAL noted. “Eric misleads the American people into believing that he was a Navy SEAL war hero, but he never served as an officer leading SEALs on missions. He earned his SEAL trident, but he never served in the capacity he leads people to think he did. He is the only SEAL officer that I’ve ever heard of who didn’t lead a SEAL platoon.”
