Well, ammonium chloride was on the GRAS list for a long time. It was used as an adjuvant in cigarettes to increase nicotine availability.
As to gasoline and rat poison, I don’t know for sure for sure. But Reich Wingnuts would never use drugs…so she must have been smoking tobacco. There is all kinds of stuff on the GRAS list that made me go, “Huh?” the last time I looked at it. (Among them the aforementioned NH4 Cl. In combustion it decomposes reversibly into ammonia gas and HCl gas. That’s not shit I want in my lungs, thanks very much.)

curb shopping is a very good way to get household stuff..anything usuable goes to the curb..is picked up long before that day is over…the really junky stuff does in the trash bin..the thrift stores are very busy,this is in Florida…people here are really hurting;food banks cannot keep enough groceries in stock to help the peole who are looking for food then to top it all off ,Desantis and his crew cut the WIC and other food sources that people depend on. it is getting rather raw here. this is trumpfs fake ‘home’ state
