Just speculating, I think Abbott might have greatly harmed his reelection by outlawing marijuana so harshly. He’s on the wrong side of popular opinion there. OTOH - I don’t get why he’s there now anyway, so it’s hard to tell.

“Chapels” aren’t part of most religions, dimwit. Calling them interfaith doesn’t change the fact that the chapels were designed to single out one subset of the population. Starting to accommodate other traditions, too, is exactly what the Constitution would seem to require.

The Constitution doesn’t require accommodating other religions traditions in a facility owned by state and local governments like most large commercial airports.
There should be no “chapels” in an airport at all. Or ablution facilities for that matter. Why is taxpayer money being spent on that? All it does is create this kind of strife. Just this atheist’s perspective and I know it will be a long time before this kind of thing can be weeded out of the culture.
