Grassley Calls MLB Decision To Move All-Star Game From Atlanta ‘Economic Terrorism’

Gassley needs to retire and chew on a piece of hay. It’s about all he is capable of doing

They are not interchangeable. I feel very strongly about that.

Republicans should be regularly asked what the difference is between “free market” and “cancel culture.” They’re basically synonymous ignoring the epithetical inference.

You could leave out the modifier.

The Repubs were so hoping to be seen as the fun party. Open the bars, fill the stadiums, forget about the masks. Now all this cancel culture stuff is is ruining the mood.

That’s funny - dirt tastes like Pepsi to me…

I don’t think Pepsi would ask either of us to appear in a commercial … I rarely do soft drinks anymore. There are some zero sugar, no caffeine seltzer brands/flavors that I prefer.

‘Economic Terrorism’

my what an odd and demented old fool !

When the Russians shut off natural gas to Ukraine in freezing winter - that was nasty
If one powerful country cuts off life sustaining supplies / materials - food, water, electricity, medicine to another nation or population group - yeah that is harsh and brutal … and … ‘Economic Terrorism’

moving the “ceremonial” All-Star game … oh! be serious!

Yeah, well, it would be more accurate to call it economic activism. The boycotting of Apartheid South Africa by US corporations - mostly as in this case in response to reading the sentiments of US citizens who strongly condemned apartheid (especially institutional and individual investors and consumners) - was an important factor in the caving in of the White Supremacist South African government. I am certainly hoping we will witness an analogous outcome here - but of course the circumstances are quite different in the US.

Pray tell, what do we call his ridiculously long, miserable tenure in office… how many has he bullied and strong armed over the years relying on his exalted position in the Senate to threaten, cajole and obstruct meaningful legislation? Get with it Iowa…this guy is nearly the walking dead.

Grassley harrumphed at Durbin’s argument, calling it an insult to minorities who suffered during Jim Crow at the hands of “southern Democrats.”

News flash for Sen. Grassstain: Hey Chuckles - we have met the “southern Democrats” and they is you.

Is was at the hands of the Southern white people. It was not partisan, it was not even political. it was just white supremacy.
