Graham Denies Trump Asked Him To Challenge McConnell

Oh, forgot to say that Vlad has photos of Donnie.

If Graham were the majority leader in the Senate, he would likely rediscover his spine where Trump is concerned. Someone with real power as leader in an independent branch of government is unlikely to welcome the idea of giving it all up to become Trump’s minion. Graham is smart enough to know what happens to Trump’s tools when he finds himself in a bind.

It has to be Lindsey. He is Trump’s caddy.

I’m not sure why reporters, other politicians don’t ask Abbott or Paxton: “What do they want to do about babies born intersex?”. I mean this BS about there are only two sexes when there is proof of intersex babies. If this happens in TX will the kid have to wait until they’re 18 to have some sex characteristics removed?

If Trump Wants To Replace McConnell With Lindsey Graham, Lindsey Graham Knows Nothing About It!

That is because it won’t really be Lindsey Graham
… it will be Ivanka wearing Lindsey Graham’s skin as a suit…

Not going to happen for the simple reason you can’t grovel and be a leader at the same time. Trump is going to lose (again) here. There’s no way Mitch doesn’t stay Republican leader until he retires or croaks.

Dunno. As it is the trans kids need to go through batteries of psychological and medical counseling. Part of the motivation here is the magical thinking that if they pray hard enough and harangue the kids hard enough, the kids can eventually be coerced to change their minds.

ideally we have a pretty good picture of all of the ins and outs of their systems

… maybe can launch their missiles for them … but with the silo doors closed…? OOPS!

make their electrical grid FUBAR … beyond its current state of FUBAR

We should be in a better position - even with having had Trump doing intentional destructive things and giving away intel … The Russians have spent money on military things - but over the past 30 years they have simply not had enough financial resources to upgrade all of the substandard and deteriorating aspects of their antiquated infrastructure. If we have any brains - and we do - we already know the points of vulnerability… the points that would only take marginal stressing and then implode.

The Russians may be talking about what they think they can do … assume we know what our side can do and are just deciding when to do it.

With regard to either/or, this is a non-issue. Both men are inveterate liars and are simply plying their trade with us. The intended impression is their idea of the inevitability of their having control of both chambers of Congress after 2022.

I do not agree that Graham has less credibility than Lauren Boebert.

Damnit - I was listening to an NPR story yesterday and thinking I needed to DL Truth just to represent Devin’s cow.

Which, apparently, we knew for years? Gotta make the Russians think twice about how amazing all their access was…

It’s not “the Russians”, it’s Putin and those of around him that support aggressive imperial expansion of the Russian heartland that are the issue. And amongst those supporters are also potential strongmen who threaten Putin’s hold on power as it is. Yeah, it’s an incredibly weak hand of cards that he has in all likelihood. Some Russians want to be done with him on both the right and the left and the center so… he’s going to not do anything unless he’s pretty sure of the reactions at home and abroad. And you can be sure that the current Russian military ain’t like the US military when it comes to being able to slice through significant military resistance, certainly not at the level of some of the US/NATO arms that are no doubt already in the Ukrainian military’s pipeline. The unknown here is how serious the Ukrainian political and military institutions are about surviving a full scale lightning war, frankly. I’m guessing that the US has a better handle on the reality of that then the Russians do at this point. And imagine what the effect would be in Russia if the US President says on Day 1 of an all out Russian invasion of Ukraine that the Russians will be bogged down in three days and at a stand-still in five… and that actually comes about? So far, Biden has been pretty on point about Russia’s side of things during this ongoing crisis so… poor Vlad?
