Gov. Inslee Rips Trump, Says POTUS ‘Would Not Accept The Responsibility’ To Help States With PPE

Washington Gov. Jay Inslee (D) is “infuriated” by President Donald Trump’s failure to help states obtain the COVID-19 testing materials and personal protective equipment (PPE) they need to combat the outbreak, the governor said on Wednesday.

Trump is very definite in promoting chaos. His kind of grift thrives on it.

Inslee told CNN that the states are now “scrambling around the world” to find those resources thanks to the federal government

I wish he would’ve also pointed that once the states/hospitals secure the needed supplies the fucking Feds step in and steal it!

Had I said just three months ago that this would be happening I would’ve been called deliriously conspiratorial. Yet here we are.

‘We’re sorry, the president that was elected in 2016 is not in working order. Please hang up and vote again.’

I’m glad he’s infuriated. Compare him to Gov. Abbott, who’s ok with Texans dying for bidness prosperity.

He seems to enjoy hurting anyone that does not realize how wonderful he is thanks to the money his father left him.
Without that money he would be selling flood damaged new cars as mint.

Truth to power here…will NOT be appreciated in the least.

trump says he is a war time president, equates the citizenry with soldiers and then makes plans to shutter the Coronavirus task force. Sounds like the president is cutting and running and leaving the troops on the battlefield. He’s going to focus on the country making money before the election so he is definitely going to cut and run.

That was Jared ‘GREAT SUCCESS!’ job. He tried to get his buddies who had absolutely no experience in doing that to look for PPE…when that failed he insisted dammit that the states had to do ‘their OWN thing’ because he was looking for the ‘FED’…we never DID find out WhoTF ‘they’ were but …

This doesn’t get enough attention from the punditocracy. If the federal government refuses to accept responsibility for a pandemic -which, by definition, is a national crisis -then we don’t need a federal government. About the only thing more important would be national defense, and even that’s arguable.

What’s occurring now with Trump, Kushner, and their cronies is a crime against the American people, and a significant percent of us are too stupid or too far gone ideologically to realize that.

He fits a certain mold. Johnson and Nixon were wartime presidents. Bush Jr. was a wartime president. Together they were responsible for losing far fewer American lives than Trump. They were also considered by many to be war criminals.

Great point.

Exactly and he is not even attempting to hide it anymore. He has stated that he is against his so called “failed states” getting any help from another round of funding. So it appears the next round will be much like the first round. Those states that refuse to raise revenue and therefore provide for citizens by taxation for example, will benefit with say 1.2 million per COVID case while those that try to be responsible will get 20 thousand per case. Ain’t it grand the definition of a failed state we get from the horses ass all while having the other hand out for a greater portion of taxes from them to be distributed to the favored.

Not by me. It would have been totally believable, because that’s how these grifters roll. And yes, here we are.

Seeing Trump do the full Coolidge/Hoover (on top of all his other corruption) reminds me to wonder how the US went for Hoover after Coolidge in the first place.

Now with Fox News I doubt we can get 4 terms of Roosevelt-ians to follow, though.

I see no photo op White House meeting invitations in your future, Inslee…

Biden should be out in Pennsylvania right now, in a mask, talking to union leaders and meat packers and essential workers and people on food lines about what is needed and how the Fed Govt can help. Biden needs to get out there and start campaigning. There are health risks, but Trump is at war with America, so it’s all hands on deck.

Well… There is the whole Guillotine thing they’re planning to set up on the WH lawn next Spring when King Trump I takes full control over the nation and decides to make examples of his enemies…
