I was looking for a post that made your exact point.
Namely, it is such a low bar for a Republican to get praised, be it Hershel Walker conceding defeat after he lost or Mitt Romney actually defending the constitution or soon to be former congresswoman Liz Cheney for actually opposing overthrow of the US Government by force or violence.
What’s next, we are going to give the Congressional Medal of Freedom to the next Republican who votes in favor of aid to Ukraine.
This behavior of Republicans that is not just so minimal if not required is hardly worth praise but rather condemnation that they remain members of a political party where this behavior is anything but required.
