I’m so angry about this recall in CA. If they thought they had a good candidate why didn’t they nominate him and run against Newsom.
I agree now they are wasting tax dollars on this fool’s errand.
I’m guessing Waters isn’t Anglo-Saxon enough for Greene.
What really needs to be done though is for Dems to go after hard ANY news org that gives these disingenuous people the time of day. If you screamed that Trump didn’t do anything wrong on Jan 6, then you shouldn’t get airtime/press space to air these disingenuous accusations at Waters. No one is owed a soundbite or interview.

As a black woman in her late 50’s I’ll jump in on this. Most of my adult life I’ve censored myself so I wouldn’t sound like an angry black woman. I know it didn’t matter that I had an advance degree and had a director level position in a large corporation. I would be judged and dismissed if I showed what others deemed too much emotion.
She didn’t say it the way they wanted her to say it which is to shut up or speak softly.

I swear their party is made of nothing but people that ascribe to “it’s not me, it’s you” personality.
Remember when BLM supporters stormed police stations with guns and bear spray, resulting in multiple deaths and injuries on both sides immediately after Rep Waters’s comments? Me neither.
That said, in order to clearly maintain our obvious high ground on the debate over what happened on Jan 6th, I think it’s important that we choose our words very carefully when speaking about mobilizing for what’s right. I’m not saying Rep. Waters was wrong, or that the people calling her out aren’t totally hypocritical and disingenuous. But it will serve us better to find clearly non-violent language to encourage protest and resistance.

I said “all connotations” so I don’t think either would be excluded. In addition to the T.H.E.M. putting chips in people’s brains to control their thoughts and/or taking them away in their spaceships for probing…and every other one.
Anyone have a suggestion as to how this ends better than, say, the Troubles in Ireland?
The troubles in Ireland are starting up again big time due to Brexit.
London is slowly pushing NI out of the union.
NI is getting to be just too difficult.
Now there is no border checks between Ireland and NI,
but lots of checks between NI and UK.
We all wish them well.
