My precinct has always used paper ballots. And I make it a point to “cast my ballot” by putting that sucker in that box myownself. I am a fan of paper ballots.

I’d like to see reference to some diligent reporting on her background and resume. At the minimum, it’s an easy matter to verify anyone’s college degrees (just contact the registrar’s office–that’s what they are there for). Then any licenses… is she a member of the bar in AZ?
Maybe TPM could set something up to provide links to reporting on such people’s bona fides. At least we’d know if they actually have some credentials of some kind, not that all credentials are necessarily meaningful, but some data is better than none.

If I did not know any better, I would look at the entire Trump presidency as a money-making operation. And I am NOT just talking about Trump’s individual corruption. The problem is that real people are suffering. There is going to have to be a collection of individuals who comment on this and do it publicly.
There is a majority of Dems in Congress ready for an Impeachment Inquiry. This is a big deal. So far, only Lawrence and a few others have talked about this. The pace at which they are coming on board is greater that I projected.

Finally, we are still not at the point at which we definitely know that Trump can be stopped. But there is no ethnic group more productive when aroused than Americans. .

So the solution to the problem is to enact a massive voter registration effort in AZ. Make sure all that want to vote have registration in place. This one will undo everything she can do in the name of vote integrity, so play the game. Get out there with a registration effort that can’t be undone.
It’s time to have a form of identification for voting for those that are registered. And it’s time for voters to show up and say ‘enough’.

I’ve voted in the same place for most of my life, the community center up the road. Now the only time I ever saw anything untoward happening was during either 2008 or 2012 election where we were standing in line, snaking up and down the hallway on both sides, and some guy called his girlfriend to bring him McDonalds, and the kid didn’t think to tell her that she should bring fries for all of us. Now a days if that situation were to happen I assume Doordash, Grubhub, or some other restaurant service would be called.

The plan is to do suppress the vote that the minority Republans retain power. If Trump still loses, after the recent ruling about faithless electors, Trump will use every means to coerce the Electors to be faithless and cast a vote for him. Even bribery will be legal in this.

Indeed. I envision a scenario in which Trump loses and then Trump KKKultists around the country start flocking to their county offices and writing letters to their AG claiming they witnessed voter fraud…and I have no doubt this woman plans to tell “poll watchers” to “err on the side of caution”, i.e., make as many reports as possible in order to fluff the numbers. They will then use the number of reports of “suspicious activity at the polls” (in several states, not just AZ, of course) to claim the entire election is illegitimate.

It is simpler than that; ANY non-white person voting is Illegal. Period. It HAS to be, or their entire world-view is proven invalid and they can’t let that happen.
