GOP Sen. Cassidy Says Trump Should Drop Out Of 2024 Race, Citing ‘Almost A Slam Dunk’ Case

I’d rather she give her vote to Biden, and encourage other Republicans to do so.

Can’t wait for trump’s sit down with tucker carlson. TC’s chat with Elmo Musk worked out sooooo well, as I recall. I’m sure dozens will tune in

Reports are that Trump might turn himself in to be arraigned in Atlanta as part of a stunt to upstage the debate.

Will be wild!

If you don’t mind I will take a pass. I don’t want to hear trump’s childish tantrums. Where would this be broadcast anyway? Tucker’s off Fox and relegated to maybe youtube or some such place I never go. I don’t think this “meeting of minds” will be on tv except in bits & pieces for right wing news reports.

Paul Ryan said that Trump’s “Grab them by the pu$$y” comment was disqualifying, but he would vote for the nominee (who happened to be Trump). Ryan wanted show that all Republicans weren’t sexual harassers, but that he was a good Party man.

Cassidy is saying Trump should drop out now because Americans probably won’t vote for a four-time indicted Republican over Biden. Cassidy wants to show the GOP still believes in that law-and-order stuff, but he will vote for whomever becomes the GOP nominee, because he is a good Party man.

See the difference? No? Good, there isn’t one single difference.

I have a radical plan to save Social Security. Remove the earnings ceiling and tax the friggin’ rich. Problem solved. Also, too, never, ever elect a Republican to the White House. Ever.

“Party man” limits one’s options and thinking. It also goes against the idea that we ought to vote for the best candidate regardless of party. The idea of country first. This sort of “distillation” has led me to vote for democrats even when I was loudly against their merry little war in Vietnam. Democrats at tge presidential level have been better candudares. At the state level there have been occasional good candidates in the goober party but they are very rare here in red Arizona.

He’s more likely to receive a flood of death threats from the MAGATs.

The Bourbons had the Bastille. Look how that worked out for them. Eventually, people get sick and tired of being sick and tired.

These are illiterate MAGATs. It will likely say, “trump is dog,” in a truly horrible insult to dogs.

Yes, but under Bush the Lesser and Fat Boy, billionaires were handed another $5T in wealth. So the people who invest in corrupt politicians got a great tax-free return on their investment. For that reason, we can expect more of the same, ad infinitum, until people decide they’ve had enough.

I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again: The Trump Presidential Library will be an evidence locker.

A big one.

There used to be whole parades of “good Party men” at a large stadium in Nuremberg. With torches, even.

Ironically, the Republicans are the real “sheeple.” Not to mention “cucks”, “snowflakes”, “groomers”, “pedophiles”, … well, the list goes on. Whatever they’re projecting on Democrats is what they’re doing – or wanting to do – themselves.
