Son of a bitch won’t do it, because it’s a slam at his mother as much as it is at him. Similarly, motherfucker involves her in his antisocial behavior as well. Now, she was involved in raising the bastard (dammit, that won’t fly either) and thus merits some level of opprobrium for his unfortunate choice of profession and misbehavior. But the right level is problematic: does she merely run out from under the porch to bite people in the ass, or is she actively evil and a sexual abuser of her offspring? I just don’t know.
Maybe we need to turn to the world of invertebrates? I think louse might be an apt descriptor for him. Lice are blood-sucking parasites and disease vectors of no apparent function. Even mosquitos serve to feed bats.
