Moscow McConnell deserves most of this. He singlehandedly handed Trump an acquittal on Impeachment, after a near flawless House effort and some of the finest oratory I have ever heard in my entire life, from Adam Schiff.
(1) The 300,000+ COVID deaths belong to him
(2) The current mayhem belongs to him
It is breathtaking that this is not blared from every source of public communication.

Social science has an area called Symbolic Interactionism…within that area resides a great deal of attention to how people respond to symbols.
How I wish that, right after Trump took Power in 2017, Moscow McConnell had taken up with wearing peaked caps, jackboots and insignia on a military coat.
Maybe then people would internalize the harm he has done to our Republic. Certainly he does not get nearly enough credit for his evil, dressed in a business suit.
