GOP Rep. Ogles Admits He Misrepresented His College Major

I have been out of school for a very very long time but I still have a nightmare once in a while about forgetting to ever go to a required class and then not remembering when it is or where. But I do know what my degrees are in and where and when I got them.

Economy class sucks?

Yeah. And when I do show up I am naked.

Maybe if I started all over again and paid more attention it would go away….and if I always wore layers.

Whence materialized the resources for Nashville TV Station to finally falsify, 2 weeks ago, the most easily falsifiable claim I can imagine on short notice? Instead of before the election when it could have at least conceivably made a difference?

If this is the state of DNC opposition research, I’d frankly rather tip my server an extra 10 bucks than send money to the email twice a week.

I have a neighbor who finally got his B.A. from U of Illinois with about 160 hours because he kept changing majors.

He did not want anyone to know his degree was in “Liberal” Studies.

Li’l Andy didn’t misrepresent anything.

He lied through his teeth about everything.

“At the time it was my understanding I had completed my course of study in Political Science and International Relations,”

Sure. Lots and lots of people have no idea whatsoever what they actually majored in in College.

At least those who were drunk out of their minds 90% of the time.

My granddaughter has a degree in Liberal Studies. It was the degree required for those who wanted to be public school teachers in California.

Looks like Diogenes can skip looking at the GOP.

As soon as I saw Liberal Studies, I knew it had to be something utterly meaningless. My dad actually got the Engineering equivalent, Engineering Sciences (he didn’t really know what field he wanted to study in the College of Engineering), then realized that that degree would open no doors (being a jack of all trades and master of none), so he got a second degree in Electrical Engineering since he realized most of his electives had been EE classes.

I guess I can see why Rep. Ogles would want to paper over that degree since it’s clearly so useless. The title says nothing (and everything). For most things, it’s not worth the embossed paper it’s printed on, unless you’re going into GOP politics, where any degree is a potential liability.

I’m shocked that the conservatives haven’t started whining that there are no Conservative Arts degrees.

There are three of lies. Ordinary lies, damnable lies, and Republican lies.

In 2024 I hope the Democrats buy extensive professional background checks on every GOP candidate.

Given that the majority of Republican politicians frat-cheated their way through college and sneered at the GDI’s who didn’t, he’s probably shocked he was called out on it.

A mere slip of the tongue. Could happen to anyone.

If the Left had any money they could run the resumes of that whole party. Moreover, what the hell is our government doing when it doesn’t background check those that would make our laws?
