Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-IN) was killed in a car accident Wednesday afternoon, a statement from Walorski’s office shared by House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) confirmed.

I winced at your post, but confess that when I saw the headline in yahoo, what I wanted to know first was her party affiliation. And TPM put it in the headline here because I’m not alone.
That district has been redrawn many times. When I was a child, it was suburban Chicago, and represented by the late Democrat Floyd Fithian. My how times have changed. Her politics were far from his, but as John Donne said, any person’s death diminishes us.
