GOP Rep Cheerfully Takes Credit For BIF After Voting Against It

“Completing the Northern Beltline will benefit the entire region and enhance economic development and employment opportunities,” he said.

He’s an idiot if he thinks this. It may benefit through traffic, but a bypass like this kills off local jobs and businesses.

It will benefit a big corporate donor at the end of the bypass or highway/roadway it enhances though.

C’mon!

don’t eat it!" (gobble, slobber)

Maybe it’s getting to be about time that the DP stopped putting in stuff for the constituencies of bozos like this guy…“hey guys, since this is going to pass anyway without me how about you do me a huge favor and put this in the bill I oppose and never ever intend on voting for?”

My late father in law knew his US politics from the early part of the 20th C forward.
I recall him telling me that the GOP was always a home for the shittiest members of our population.
