Yes, including the words “diverse”, “qualified”, and “national security” … well, assuming you mean this nation.

The party that was okay with Trump abandoning our allies (Kurds) says what now?

You must never negotiate with those who shown themselves of bad faith. Everything to lose. Nothing to gain. Have we learned nothing from the bad-faith crook ex-prez?

And the cult that was ok with vlad putting bounties on American troops. Hypocrisy is foundational for the cult.

Members of the fascist cult don’t care about their blatant hypocrisy nor the blatant mendacity. They know that their intended audience of racist bigots along with obscenely wealthy individuals and corporations are not concerned with integrity.

The racist bigoted base just wants their to see their prejudices accepted and codified. The obscenely wealthy financial sponsors of the cult just want to avoid paying taxes and not be held responsible for destroying the environment of killing workers or consumers.

Fortunately the cult seems to be losing membership and will have difficulty winning elections short of somehow taking the right to vote away from all but cult members. And try as they might, they’re not going to be able to pull that off.

Yes, but only by default, as I seriously doubt that the previous administration had any idea what “paradigm shift” means.

Senate Republicans have suddenly had a change of heart in the role they play in the confirmation process, and have set their sights on torpedoing the confirmation of Colin Kahl for under secretary of Defense

Hypocrisy aside, the urge to destroy Colin is not new. Republicans, including in the Trump White House, have spent the last three or four years on the effort – largely because they don’t care for his views and did not like what he did in the Obama Administration.

To be fair, a lot of people don’t know what it originally meant – which is why it is coming to mean little more than “a considerable change.”

President Biden has selected a diverse slate of qualified individuals to fill some of the top national security roles in his administration.

T***** had a diverse cabinet. White, off White, Cream, Ivory, French Vanilla, etc.

Not liking his politics or way of doing his work, or what he looks like or what mean things he said about Trump or anyone else has nothing to do with advising and consenting.

It’s dishonest and shameful.

Can you give us a primer on acting and recess appointments sometime, please. Sometimes I wish Schumer and Pelosi would declare a recess and Biden would then sweep all the remaining nominees into office.

Well, hell, We know that the Republithugs are unashamedly capable of the most overt hypocrisy. It seems to be what motivates them to get out of bed in the morning.

His administration also included Grifters and Thieves and Criminals with a wide array of talents and experience. From fleecing the credulous, to tax fraud, to money laundering, to defrauding government programs, to insider-trading, to being bagmen for multi-national criminal cartels, his administration covered it all.

(Not to mention wife-beating, racism, chemical dependencies, and full-fledged personality disorders.)
