GOP Nominee Hiding Election Denialism

When I watched that show as a kid, I though FL would be such a cool place to live. What was I thinking?

Donald Trump once offered to hand control of the West Bank to Jordan’s King Abdullah II, a forthcoming book claims. The wild revelation is detailed in The Divider: Trump in the White House, 2017-2021 by journalists Peter Baker and Susan Glasser, The Washington Post reports. Despite Palestinians in the region having sought to overthrow the Jordanian monarchy for decades, Trump is said to have considered his January 2018 proposal “a great deal.” Abdullah II was less enthused, it’s said. “I thought I was having a heart attack,” the Jordanian king reportedly told an American friend about the proposal. “I couldn’t breathe. I was bent doubled-over.” Although Trump had no control over the West Bank—which is bordered by Jordan and Israel—he is said to have believed that giving control of the area to Abdullah would be doing the monarch a favor, seemingly without realizing that such a move would royally destabilize his country.

I watch a few youtube channels where the people scuba dive in Florida rivers and collect all kinds of incredibly cool ice age fossils, and though I wouldn’t live there I’d sure like to visit those folks and participate in their adventures.

Well, if fishing and boating and being on the beach are fun, it is a cool place. The show didn’t really emphasize what freaks a lot of the people were.

  • Erik Aadland, a Republican running for Colorado’s 7th Congressional District, privately told conservative activists in June that he believes the 2020 election was “undermined by fraud” and now “we have an illegitimate government in power,” according to audio obtained by FiveThirtyEight.

I don’t see in the clip who the Dem opponent is, but I hope [s]he has seen this and is preparing to blare it throughout the district.

Let’s see what comes of this, because this:

WH Reaches Tentative Deal With Rail Workers To Avoid Strike

I truly hope this is a good deal for the unions. Part of Biden’s campaign was to help the unions. If this doesn’t help them as best as we can, this could be a problem going forward.

Maybe yes, maybe no. I’d like to see Mitch permanently removed from power, but I’m afraid there’s only one way for that to happen and this isn’t it.

  • “That feels like election interference,” [Charlie Kirk] declared with a straight face.

Yep - it probably is. How’s it feel to be on the receiving end?

Though it was always obvious that Trump had no intention of picking Mike Pence to be his running mate ever again, the ex-president confirmed it in an interview with reporters Peter Baker and Susan Glasser for their upcoming book.

That’s ok, I had no intention of picking Pence or TFG to be President ever again. My decision stands.

Now, I hope those texts are absolutely everything we hoped for and more.

If all they are are Chick-Fil-A orders, this has all been a big red herring.

I have family struggling down there. Tradesmen used to move down from the north and get a cheap place to live. Work 2-3 days a week and fish/golf 4-5.

But there’s no cheap florida anymore. Maybe if it gets a few years of 7-hurricane seasons that could change. But it’s hard for lots of regular folks to make ends meet there now.

Norman Ornstein helped me rethink my first word choice. But yeah, that’s boundlessly contemptible. I really doubt there’s much infrastructure for helping refugees in Martha’s Vineyard, and they’d need help just to get back to a place that did have some. And to strand them there for essentially a cheap, nasty political joke, he’s just a garbage person, sorry.
