Repeated every 120 seconds…
It would be in everyone’s interest if Trump would tell the crowd not to chant that, Steve. Even Trump, with his vestigial stub of rationality, occasionally sees that. But if it starts he may let it go on anyway, because he’s a hateful, vindictive person and he enjoys it too much. He can’t help it; it’s his nature.
Oh I’m sure Donnie will smirk and point and then use his hands to pretend to ‘tap it down’. The problem will be if YOU Congressman will have the ballz to criticize Trump if he doesn’t?
And he will bask in the love shown to him by the group bigotry and misogyny.
I’m really, really tempted to mention Chabot’s congressional PVI, but it’s crazy to think that way.
Absolutely
Just messaged back, because only the usual perfidy should come from this, right?
A Republican congressman from the state President Trump is visiting for a rally Thursday evening said he’s hopeful Trump will do more to prevent any racist chants on his home turf.
FOFLMFAO .
Representative Chabot has probably just gotten his invitation revoked, per the White House.
It’s a real scorpion/frog situation. He knows what is in his best interests. But, hey, he’s a scorpion, it’s what he does.
Or it’s like someone with a severe substance or alcohol abuse problem, who is allowed to taste the substance that is the cause of their problem. He draws strength form these rallies, it validates his twisted worldview. How can he not revel in the hatred he inspires?
If he does discourage chants like this from happening, he will do so with a smirk on his face.
The tell will be in the placards the crowd waves during Trump’s rallies. Certainly the entry screening process allows for security to weed out any items that the camaign genuinely instructs event staff are not permitted. I could see some crudely drawn signs getting done inside the arena, the backside of permitted ones scrawled with a magic marker. But anything professional looking, held up by a multitude of attendees, will put lie to Trump’s claim “Send her back” will not be allowed.
‘Hey, don’t do that, there’s no place for that. It’s not helpful, it’s not right.’ Yep, sounds just like Donald Trump to me.
Chabot is hoping twitler will pull a John McCain ‘No ma’am’. Ain’t gonna happen. Not in a million years.
What time and where is the hatefest, i.e. “rally”?
Let’s start a pool and I call dibs on “send her back” chants accompanied by a big fat smirk on the big fat orange face at exactly three minutes after he waddles up to the podium.
“Hey, don’t do that, there’s no place for that. It’s not helpful, it’s not right.’”
You’re living in a fantasy world, Neo. This…is the desert of the now.
Heresy! The cult will not allow this.
He’ll have a primary challenger soon.
Nothing unites like fear and hate!
The only reason to have a rally at all is to stoke his ego. He’s had a rough couple of weeks since the last one, and people keep saying true–oops–mean things about him. His illness demands that he have people chant things that reinforce how loved he is. For him, it’s like a necessary medication. (And look for taking credit for the proposal to allow people to import prescription drugs from Canada, although it seems that the proposal won’t do much for Type I Diabetics.)
Donald never encourages it. He just draws it out like flies to shit.
I think there’s a scenario where he does tamp it down, but mockingly, saying, “Oh, we mustn’t say that, it isn’t nice, it isn’t politically correct.” Still smirking, none of McCain’s honest if mild shock at the stuff his supporters were coming out with.
