Jesus of Nazareth was born to Jewish parents. He was raised an observant Jew. His siblings were raised as Jews. He taught and “healed” in synagogues. He famously said he didn’t come “to abolish the law or the prophets, but to fulfill them.” He recruited twelve Jews to be his apostles.
He was persecuted as a Jew.
He died a Jew.
He never once renounced his faith.
And yet, many of his “followers” hate Jesus’s own people. They hate his parents. They hate his siblings. They hate his apostles.
This is how fucked up Christianity can be.
