OT: Update on our delivery Wednesday night:
Mom is on her feet and starting to get around. Still monitoring food and water intake and getting special warming - we have the winter storm here, which right now is liquid precipitation (possibly sleet), but she is warm and dry.
The babies are doing fantastically. When possible, they are nursing off mom and helping get her milk seriously started, but they are also getting some nutrition from their auntie goats that have some extra milk. They are out and about from the heating barrel and looking really great.
We have two more ladies that should go shortly, but they have not yet been put into their maternity ward stalls, so they are not imminent.

Much of this masking stuff will get lifted this weekend.
My grands came home from school yesterday (it was cancelled today, due to the storm) with the news that, except for the school bus and the nurse’s office, they will no longer need to wear masks at school.
This is becoming the norm throughout the country, so much of the idiots’ protest is being defused. Wonder what else they’ll start outraging about? [/s]

We’re fast approaching the day when being an avowed, proud and publicly self identified white supremacist is no different than saying you’re a Democrat or Republican. Too many citizens, media personalities and politicians are actively normalizing it for it to remain a stain on your character. One day a Governor of a state, or a U.S. Rep or Senator, will run and win a platform of white supremacy.

I always though Ducey was a right wing ignoramus, but I never pegged him as embracing White Nationalism. Goes to show that today’s Republicans, well, they’re always worse than you think.
Coupled with Rick Scott’s recent “manifesto” where he urges taxing the poor, I’d say that neofeudalism is also in the works.
The thing is, how do you suppress a majority, because whites will be a majority minority by mid century, for very long without resorting to draconian laws and violence, both threatened and actual?
