Gee. I wondered what the political leaning of the “armed protesters” is?

Maybe some of these halfway rational Rs could talk among themselves and discuss ways to clean house, see if they can decrazify the starboard side of the population just a bit.

These people have lost their fucking minds. And somehow the Democratic Party is supposed to reach out to them? And the Democratic Party is all disarrayed?

Most likely, we’re watching the republican party destroy itself.

Are there enough moderate/Rockefeller repubs to fit on the head of a pin?! It’s lovely to contemplate them establishing a sanity party…

Yes the GOP built that…enjoy… edited to add I thought the GOP thought an armed society was a polite society and more guns were the answer to everything

Which is stronger, Sununu’s fear for his family’s safety or his commitment to and expansive reading of the Second Amendment?

I guess if you have dedicated security and can go into hiding to deal with the first, you don’t need to worry about the Second, even though the rest of us do.

Let us pray to the Baby Jesus that it is so.

But in all honesty, I doubt it. Sununu is popular and he will run for Senate. Once he gets there, he will do McConnell’s bidding without exception.

I think the idea that all Republicans are now gibbering lunatics is what you might call a perhaps-not-truism. Their type of crazy might be more assumed than real, like when a car salesperson tells you anything you want to hear just to get you in the door and keep the pot boiling. When they had to turn the rhetoric up to 11, they did. But these guys can’t think it’s a good thing when the crazies are scaring their families. They know perfectly well they have a problem.

PS: I live in northern NH. I can’t believe how many Trump billboards, posters, and flags are still up on people’s houses and yards. They really love him. Sickening.

It’s new hampshire. They don’t wear helmets on motorcycles, either, so why should they wear a mask.

Well you be sure that they don’t vote Democratic otherwise the National Guard complete with armor would have been deployed to “dominate” the streets. But if the Guv represses his own supporters, who is going to vote for him?

One of the few almost-sane people who haven’t given up on the GOP.
