GOP Candidate For Senate Proclaims Allegiance To QAnon

They are either going to concede this race, the smart move, or fund this loser at the expense of others.

Jeff Merkley says thank you.

Given Steve Daines is one of the most right-wing members of the Senate, let’s hope Bullock crushes him. Montana’s covid-19 response has been pretty good, and given Daines horrible record on health care and public health, it will be hard not to reward Bullock.

I guess the GOP wants to lose this race in a landslide. Works for me.

FFS…I truly want to slap her off the face of the Earth…the ocean isn’t THAT far…

I once had a bumper sticker that said, “I know for sure that the US is tilted because everything loose ends up in California.”

It was cute, but nowhere near accurate.

The party of Lincoln. Hah. Something that has also been a bit of a myth, especially over the last 50 or 60 years during my life at least.

To paraphrase a tweet I read yesterday: Anyone who thinks that Americans won’t stomach a Senate candidate that believes in ‘God, Trump, and Q’ isn’t familiar with the theology of Christianity which celebrates ‘The Father, Son and Holy Ghost.’

Trump’s supporters, who appear to be 99% evangelical Christians, have built up a belief in Trump that mirrors their evangelical beliefs. To quote from the story:

“QAnon is a sweeping far-right conspiracy theory which envisions a secret battle between President Donald Trump and a “deep state” supposedly working to destabilize him.”

Even this structure mimics the evangelical belief system where Jesus is fighting a secret battle against Satan which seeks to destabilize humanity. We aren’t that far away from some nut painting a scene with Trump fighting the battle of Armageddon alongside Jesus and Netanyahu.

This is the tweet I referenced: x.com

Robert Anton Wilson was a genius and a very funny man. Some of his readers obviously did not understand his sense of humor. Fnord!
