Given Steve Daines is one of the most right-wing members of the Senate, letâs hope Bullock crushes him. Montanaâs covid-19 response has been pretty good, and given Daines horrible record on health care and public health, it will be hard not to reward Bullock.

To paraphrase a tweet I read yesterday: Anyone who thinks that Americans wonât stomach a Senate candidate that believes in âGod, Trump, and Qâ isnât familiar with the theology of Christianity which celebrates âThe Father, Son and Holy Ghost.â
Trumpâs supporters, who appear to be 99% evangelical Christians, have built up a belief in Trump that mirrors their evangelical beliefs. To quote from the story:
âQAnon is a sweeping far-right conspiracy theory which envisions a secret battle between President Donald Trump and a âdeep stateâ supposedly working to destabilize him.â
Even this structure mimics the evangelical belief system where Jesus is fighting a secret battle against Satan which seeks to destabilize humanity. We arenât that far away from some nut painting a scene with Trump fighting the battle of Armageddon alongside Jesus and Netanyahu.
