Google Unveils New ‘Chromebook’ Computers | Talking Points Memo

Google has officially unveiled two new computers powered by its Chrome operating system, both made by its partner Samsung. One is a laptop, the Samsung Series 5, and the other is a desktop computer, the “Chromebox,” a small, slender rectangle reminsicent of the Mac mini. Both computers rely on the Chrome OS, which is entirely Web-based and requires an Internet connection to use most programs.
