Google Unveils Android Voice Search To Compete With Apple’s Siri | Talking Points Memo

As part of Google’s announcement of the new version of the Android operating system, Jelly Bean (4.1), at a developer’s conference Wednesday, Google engineers demonstrated “Android Voice Search,” a voice-activated Web search function that can respond to queries with a voice of its own, providing basic definitions of words on command or bringing up pictures of animals as asked.
