In an effort to help Syrians communicate in the wake of their country’s Internet connection going offline across the country on eary Thursday morning, Google and Twitter have teamed up to enable a phone call-to-Tweet program, which allows Syrians with phone access to leave voice mails to specific international numbers, which Google then stores as short audio files and which are posted to the following Twitter account: @Speak2Tweet.
