That’s exactly the mantra of the GQP. When one has zero regard for the law, the truth, and voters, this is what occurs. An entire political party is completely off the rails and wants to eliminate fair and free elections, and supporting the violent seditionists is what they do.

His stupidity really is a factor, though. Not many of the rest try to frame the argument the way he does: “We did the insurrection because you made us mad with your bad behavior.” That’s just idiotic on so many levels that even the worst of them know it’s a loser. They’ll talk about “the Russia hoax” and “cancel culture”—hell, the latter is CPAC’s whole theme—but they’ll leave Jan. 6 out of the equation when they talk about those things. Famously smart guy Ted Cruz just wants to blame it on Nancy.

Gomert: Democrats have never come to understand that one of the more insightful things that they do is not only to misrepresent things as they did with the Russia hoax but then turn around and try to silence Republicans or opposing views.
First, there was no “Russian hoax.” Republican investigators found evidence by simply scraping the surface.
Second, the Sunday shows are full of views opposing Democrats.

So far it appears that spotting actual participating “Antifa” would be on the level of sighting Bigfoot in the Cannon House Office Building .

If I recall correctly, the swastika symbol was originally drawn to mimic a comet, which can blow out gas tails that curve around behind the center in a pinwheel fashion when viewed head-on. This was thought to be a sign of good luck. That’s what I was told many years ago by a now long-dead astronomer.
