Internet address registrar GoDaddy’s main website and many of the other websites it hosted on its servers were knocked offline for most of Monday afternoon and a hacker affiliated with Anonymous claimed credit. But on Tuesday morning, GoDaddy released the following statement saying that its service outage was not caused by a hacker or any other “external influences.”
